Mr. Alexey Desyatkin, CEO of Zarubezhgeologiya JSC, visited Cotonou from April 24 to May 1, 2021 Lome, Togolese Republic. In the framework of the it was held a working meeting with H.E. Minister of Mines and Energy (Ministère des Mines et des Énergies de la République Togolaise) Ms. Mavunyo Mila Ami Asiable. Mr. Alexey Desytkin has also met the leaders of the Directorate General of Mines and Geology of the Togolese Republic under the Ministry (Direction Générale des Mines et de la Géologie de la République Togolaise, GDMG) for technical negotiations of potential cooperation in the field of mining and geological research and geology.
During the meeting with the Minister the topical issues of geological study of the Togolese mineral resource base were discussed and the areas of cooperation in geological exploration were noted. During technical negotiations the CEO and the experts of GDMG have raised different types of work of the mutual interest including geophysical research, audit of the existing laboratory complex and support for international certification, based on the experience, technical and human resources available to the company in the implementation of similar projects in African countries. Following the negotiations Mr. Alexey Desyatkin visited the chemical and petrophysical departments of the laboratory on the territory of GDMG.
