From 15 to 22 August this year Cotonou was visited by a delegation of the Russian company Zarubezhgeologia, headed by its General Director A.D. Mineev to negotiate with the Bureau of Mining and Geological Research of Benin (OBRGM) to carry out reconnaissance geological work in the country. During the visit, technical meetings were held with the Director General and OBRGM representatives. On August 21, a meeting of representatives of the Russian company and the Russian Ambassador to Benin, I.D. Evdokimov, with the Minister of Water Resources and Mining of the Republic of Benin, Samu Seyidu Adambi, to discuss cooperation issues.
