JSC Zarubezhgeologia delegation headed by its CEO Alexey Desyatkin took part in the Erdenet-60 scientific conference which was held on November 1, 2023 at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (SHUTIS).
A. Desyatkin made reports on "Prospects for mineral resources base expansion of the "Erdenet enterprise" ICC based on prospective areas revaluation in the Erdenet district" and "Localization features of complex copper mineralization with gold, silver at the site Khuzhiryin of the Erdenet district".
The Erdenet-60 conference was organized together with the "Erdenet enterprise" ICC, the Institute of Geology and mineral resources of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (SHUTIS), the National Geological Survey and mining geological companies on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Erdenet-Ovoo deposit discovery and the 45th anniversary of the "Erdenet" MPP.
Within the framework of the conference geologists, surveyors and research engineers from Mongolia, Russia, Japan and other countries submitted their reports and presentations and discussed topical issues regarding geological investigations, ore minerals deposits exploration and exploitation.
