From November 28th to December 2nd the delegation of Zarubezhgeologia JSC visited the Algeria. The visit of the Russian delegation was confined to the International Conference on Investments in the Mining Industry of Algeria, organized by the Ministry of Energy and Mining Industry with the support of the President of the Republic on November 30th, 2021.
The business program included working meetings with government agencies on the main vectors of promising cooperation with departments such as ANAM (National Agency for State Subsoil Fund Management), ASGA (Agency for Geological Research of Algeria), ORGM (Geological Exploration Enterprise), as well as with representatives of mining business structures ("EURL ADLANDISTRIBUTION" and Ceval Minerals). At the conference, the Memorandum of Business Cooperation was signed between Zarubezhgeologia JSC and the MANAL Group of Mining Companies in the field of geological support for mining operations at the Group's mines.
Within the framework of the conference, the CEO of Zarubezhgeologia JSC Aleksey Desyatkin made a report - International trends in increasing investments in the mining industry of Algeria. The main aspects of the speech were: the world market of highly liquid minerals, as well as the prospects for Algeria in creating the country's mineral resource base.
At the end of the working visit the CEO of the company Alexey Desyatkin met with the Minister of Energy and Mining of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Arkab, where the results of the business negotiations were discussed.
Mr. Minister Mohamed Arkab noted the great contribution of Russian geologists to the development of the mineral resource base of the country and the mining sector of the Algerian economy and stressed the great importance of the conclusion of the Memorandum of business cooperation between Zarubezhgeologia JSC and MANAL Group, signed on November 30 this year.
Alexey Desyatkin confirmed the readiness of Zarubezhgeologia JSC to provide a full range of geological exploration works for solid minerals in Algeria.
