Specialists of JSC “ZARUBEZHGEOLOGIA" have started performing engineering and geological studies at the tailings dump GOK «Erdenet».
The work at the tailings dump GOK « Erdenet» is carried out to determine the engineering and geological conditions for the deposition of dam sands and to study their physical and mechanical properties.
Specialists are engaged in geomorphology of groundwaters, monitor the seismic activity of geological processes. The dynamic conditions of sand stability are evaluated for mathematical modeling of the processes occurring in the tailings dam.
The purpose of this work is to determine the sustainability conditions and to make development forecasts of possible negative processes.
