In 1979 he graduated from the Sergo Ordzhonikidze Moscow State University for Geological Prospecting with a degree in geological surveying, prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits.
In 1996 he defended his thesis on rare metal mineralization of the Nubian-Arabian Shield (South Yemen).
Specialization-regional geological study of the development of Early Precambrian complexes.

Professional Experience

He worked hard, advancing from the worker of geological exploration of the III category to Deputy Head of the Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation.
He worked on foreign contracts, including:
- group geological survey in the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen
- per sheet geological survey of the scale in the Republic of Guinea
-development of the geological surveys in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria
