In 1976 he graduated from the Moscow Geological Prospecting Institute with a degree in geological surveying, prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits.
In 1988 he defended his thesis on the structural position of copper-nickel ores in the eastern part of the Baltic Shield.
Professional experience
Over 40 years of experience in exploration and mining.
Experience as a leader in exploration projects at Aerogeology, Barrick, Nord Gold, and Polymetal.
He worked in a number of regions of the Russian Federation, African countries, Central Asia, South America.
Member of the Australian International Geological Institute AIG.
Member of the International Society of Structural Geology ISTG.
